Eng. Naji Al-Tamimi, CEO of the Insurance Authority (IA), inaugurated Monday, April 14, the High Performing Insurance Boards signature program. The course is delivered by The Financial Academy (TFA) in partnership with Swiss Re, one of the world’s leading center of expertise in insurance and reinsurance.

Mr. Al-Tamimi stated that the Insurance Authority supports the training program being a step towards empowering insurance leaders in KSA, enhancing the sector’s sustainability and improving its practices, which falls in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.

Accompanying the IA Chairman on his visit to the TFA headquarters, Mr. Mana AlKhamsan, CEO of The Financial Academy, explained that the program is designed to increase governance efficiency and enable board members in insurance sector to adopt the best practices of leadership for a sustainable performance.

“TFA believes that empowering board members is the cornerstone for achieving sustainable growth and building a more future-ready sector,” added AlKhamsan.

The Financial Academy (TFA) is an entity with an independent, legal and administrative status. It is organizationally located under the Chairman of the Board of the Capital Market Authority (CMA). The Academy is mainly focused on qualifying the financial sector’s human capital, including senior managers and board members, by advancing their knowledge, capabilities, skills and culture. The FA also develops and promotes best professional financial practices, targeting all components of the financial services sector including banking, finance, insurance and capital market.
